Boggle

So, Josh and I enjoy a little boggle every now and then. (For those of you who don't know what Boggle is, shame on you! It's the best 3 minutes of word find there is!) And we enjoy playing it with friends. Well, there are a couple of friends in particular that challange us in that game-by challange, I mean kick our butts-and they always get a kick out of it, too. Seriously, they can get 100 words out of the 16 provided letters in 3 minutes. Mind boggling--hence Boggle! No matter what we do, or how we switch up our strategies (yes, there is a strategy to Boggle, but that is not to be revealed at any time), they always out word us. It's gotten intense and frustrating. Josh never gets mad about losing, but I've seen him lose his cool before (which to me is so funny b/c I'm always the one losing my cool, and he laughs at me, which gets me even more upset, but that's a whole other can of worms to open). Anyways, one day we just asked them how they got so good, and they said they practice online at this site for FREE Boggle. I thought, "Nerds!" But then, Josh and I went to that website, and let me just say, it's freakin' addicting! I probably spend an hour at a time on that site. I justify that seemingly wasted time by telling myself that I'm exercising my brain. And hopefully, one day, I'll be able to beat our friends at it.

Advertisement time: for those of wishing to explore new heights in the titilating game of Boggle, I have the link to the site right here on this blog! No need to try Googling it; I've made it easy for you.
PS. If you're wondering who the friends are, well, you know you are (cough, Jen and JJ).

Hot Stuff

So, our new friend, Alyson is an aspiring photographer, and she was wanting to build her portfolio. She asked us the other day if we would model for her. "Excellent!" I thought. "Oh no," Josh thought, but Alyson and I pulled his arm hard enough to get him to do it. Here are some samples of her talent. She also has other examples on her blog, which you can find on our friends list. Thanks Alyson!
